Introduction

Hi, my name is Elliott Finkley I am a Physics student at JU. I am from Jacksonville, Florida born July 13, 1988. I am a former Ju All American football player here at JU. My plans are to get signed to a professional team soon. I currently am a JV coach at a high school here in Jacksonville on the southside called Atlantic Coast.

While I wait I am finishing my degree. On my free time I like playing video games, listening to music and train for football.

My favorite subject in physics is working with electric fields and magnetic inductions. It is my job to interest you in learning about physics and show you why i picked it as a degree.

  1. Hi Elliott! My name is Katie Kelly and this is my first Physics course ever. So far so good, but its only the end of week one! haha. What made you decide that physics is what you wanted to major in?

  2. Hey Elliot! My name is Lauren Prince. I also was born and raised in Jacksonville. I've never taken Physics, but I like what we are learning so far. As a pre-medical student, I'm taking Physics to prepare for the MCAT. So glad you and some fellow students created this blog. I love meeting new people:) Was Physics your first choice as a major?

  3. Hi Elliot! My name is Nayade Moreno and I am a Biology Major. I am taking the Physics class as a requirement for my major and because it will help me prepare for the MCAT. I am also very curious and as a scientist I like to answer questions of the how and why of things. You mentioned that your subject in physics is working with electric fields and magnetic inductions, can you explain what this means?

  5. Hey! My name is Megan Zellner and I am a Marine Science major. Not to sound like a creeper, but you looked so familiar in class. Maybe though just from seeing you around campus. Haha. I am also a Jacksonville native and am taking this course and Physics II because they are course requirements.

  7. Hello Elliott,
Thank you for letting us get to know you better and help run this blog. My name is Kelsey Irvine and I have never see physics before this class. It's proving hard to keep my attention, which I hope goes away soon. Like many of the other bio students I need this class for my degree as well as for my MCAT. Three cheers for Jacksonville natives and for physics
